Our guide was great, he explained everything in a way that actually made sense, which I really appreciated. Each stop felt easy to understand, and he added little details along the way that made the whole experience more interesting. it’s always nice when someone can teach you things without making it feel like a lecture...

"Smooth booking and fair prices"
I booked our trip through Exoticca the whole process was straightforward. The dates, hotels, and flights were easy enough to understand, and I really appreciated that the price didn’t suddenly jump at checkout, which is always an avoidable headache in my opinion. I had one quick question and customer service got back to me fast. So far, I’m really happy with the booking experience and just hoping the trip itself goes just as smoothly!

"The hotels really wore us down"
The trip itself was okay, but the hotels took a lot of the enjoyment out of it. A few of them felt dated and not especially clean, and one room had a really unpleasant smell when we walked in. The beds were hard, and some of the locations were inconvenient, which meant extra hassle after already long travel days. The staff were usually nice, but by the end we were just tired of having to adjust expectations or deal with another accommodation issue. For what we paid, the hotel quality really didn’t match what we expected. Exoticca needs to do a better job checking these places before sending travelers there.

"Nice trip, even if it felt a little rushed"
I had a good time overall, and I’m not trying to complain just for the sake of it, but the pace did feel a bit exhausting at times. It was still a nice trip, I just wish there had been a little more breathing room.

They did end up solving the problem, but it took way too many emails back and forth to get there. By the time it was finally fixed, I was frustrated and not as confident in them as I was at the start...

"Optional tours were a bit mixed"
Overall, the trip was enjoyable, but the optional excursions were a little inconsistent. A few of the guides were really good and made the experience worthwhile, while others felt a bit rushed, so those tours didn’t quite feel worth the extra cost. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, I just think those add-ons could have been a bit better.

I cancelled my order and expected the refund to be handled quickly, but I’m still waiting. It’s frustrating because that’s really not acceptable customer service in my opinion.

"Updates were confusing and way too late"
I kept getting updates after they would’ve actually been useful, and even then they weren’t very clear. I tried to give customer service the benefit of the doubt, but i don’t really trust that they knew what was going on or were being upfront with me. The whole thing just felt frustrating and avoidable.

I booked through exoticca the trip was really close to what they showed on the site. The hotels, transfers, tours, and even the more packed Days all lined up with the details. I appreciated that there weren’t any big surprises once we arrived. A few days were definitely long, but they did mention that upfront, so I can’t really complain. I’d book with them again.

I figured the buses and airport pickups would be straightforward, and that’s mostly how it went. Everything was easy to find and generally on time, which kind of confirmed my feeling that the transport side would be fine. One transfer did run a little late, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, it worked well for our trip...

The itinerary had some really nice stops, and we got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Hotels and tours were mostly as described, so no big surprises there. Smooth overall.
That said, some days felt way too packed. Early starts, not much free time, and a few places I really wish we could’ve stayed longer. Overall, it was an okay trip. Just needed a better pace.

"Quick help when I needed it"
I had a question after booking and they got back to me quickly. The person I spoke with was clear and helped me sort everything out without a lot of back and forth. Overall, I was really happy with the service and would definitely mention it to a friend if they were booking too.
